Devonta has been waiting for this moment to get drafted on draft day for a long time.When he slipped past the 1st 2 rounds he started to panic.Then the 3rd round came still his name wasnt called.Seven Athletes was called before he was drafted.When the Reno Predators called Devonta Duncan's Phone at the 21st ovr pick He was shocked.When the Commish walked up and said "With the 21st pick in the Season one draft the Reno Predators select Devonta Duncan out of Miami." Devonta Burst into Tears of joy then former college Teammate/Reno's 20th ovr pick Dominique Johnson came over to huge Devonta.It was a remarkable night for him,When the Media stopped him for a few questions all Devonta said was "Today was a amazing day but tomorrow is all about getting to work,getting to know my teammates,and give the teams that took the Athletes before me a reason to regret it.
Devonta Dream was to be the Best WR in the UFSL,which will not happen since Head Coach of the Reno Predators moved him to CB.Duncan was very angry that he wont be able to play the postion he played in high school and College.Devonta went to the media and said "This will not be a stepback in my career here and i will not demand a trade just so i can play WR.I will be a Team player and play whatever postion the coaching staff tells me to play.Winning is more important than Stats."
