The Seattle Stormtroopers are ready to start their inaugural season as part of the UFSL. After a solid preseason win over the New York Nightmare, the Stormtroopers did not celebrate and quickly got back to work getting ready for their opener against the Reno Predators (who also won their preseason game). This matchup is set to be a blast from the get go as the Predators offense featuring Rock Afella, Elijah McNugget, Devin Street and Staphid Jarvis faceoff against the self-proclaimed best defense in the league featuring Lord Vader, Jamaal Stockton, and Taylor Green. The Reno Predators were criticized by using a pass first style offense during their preseason game but it obviously paid off as they walked away with the victory. The Stormtroopers used their secondary to shut down the New York Nightmare’s superstar cast of wide receivers as Bam Risso snagged two interceptions and KJ Bryant added another. The Predators have to be worried about committing turnovers if they continue to trust the arm of Rock Afella who was an athlete during the draft. The Stormtroopers will most like feature Ikechukwu Osuwah with a solid running game. Osuwah is predicted to be the top running back at the end of the season but with all the competition it will be hard to tell. The only thing known right now is that both teams want to start their seasons off with a win and the time is now.
