Devonta Duncan was pretty mad when he was bumped down to the #3 CB.About 3 weeks ago Devonta was drafted by the Reno Predators Devonta was pretty excited to get on the field and prove that he can be a good player in this league.About 1 week ago Devonta let Dave Hester take his Wide Reciever spot which was a big blow for Devonta but he did it anyway.Devonta moved to play Cornerback.The Predators signed another CB and put him as a starter with Little Planet while Devonta moves down to the #3 corner.The Press asked him if he was going to ask for a trade and Devonta Said "At First i was but then i thought about it,many teams wouldnt buy into my services since i dont spend much time on the practice field."The Press also asked him will this flaw kill your career?Devonta said "I dont know to be honest....i mean i hope it dont but making a early impact in a league helps get your name out there,apparently that wont happen with me but it mostly my fault for not getting on the practice field enough also."Devonta is normally a guy that just accepts a role to play but it looks like things will be changing.Devonta has been frustrated for the last 2 weeks based on the team not having faith in him.The Press asked,you wish you would of went higher in the draft?Devonta Said "I dont care where i'm drafted....The Draft is like a popularity contest in my opinion.I dont want my career to be based on low-expectations but I also dont wanna be a d**k but as of right now it looks like I have to do anything possible to get the chance to prove myself,even if it has to result in a trade,Its time to take a Stand."
