Along with the rest of the quarterbacks in the league, Landon Carter of the Seattle Stormtroopers is having trouble finding his rhythm out there on the football field. Carter came into the league being considered the biggest toss up when it comes to starting quarterbacks. So far he hasn't been able to prove anything that has given people a reason to change their minds. In his pre-season showing for the Stormtroopers, Carter completed seven passes out of twenty seven attempts with a touchdown pass.
The Stormtroopers had their first regular season game last weekend. In a dominant win, Carter again did not play well at all. He only completed six passes in eighteen attempts with no touchdowns and no interceptions. The Stormtroopers managed to dominate the game through their rushing phenom Osuwah and their defensive play. But unless Carter improves his quarterback play over the course of the season, Seattle may be in some trouble if they want to continue to win a good amount of games.
But as it stands now, the Stormtroopers should be alright with the unbalanced rosters of all the teams. It seems that there are an abundance of premier defensive backs on each team, compared to the lack of any talented players on the defensive line. This is one of the reasons why you may be seeing more success in the rushing game for all the teams in the UFSL in the first season.
