Kennard hires Drew Rosenhaus MIAMI — In a press release from Rosenhaus Sports Representation, renowned super agent Drew Rosenhaus announced that Marcus Kennard has hired him as his new agent. Kennard was previously represented by Baker Sports Agency, a group based out of Detroit. Rosenhaus indicated in the press release that Kennard's contract with that group had expired. "We are proud to announce that Marcus Kennard has added us to his team for the upcoming UFSL season," Rosenhaus said in the release. "We look forward to helping him increase his exposure and value in the near future." Kennard is already gaining plenty attention after announcing his intention to enter the draft as a running back rather than a defensive back. Whether he plays that position remains to be seen, and it's likely that he could be drafted as a defensive player. Rosenhaus' press release did not comment on Kennard's status as a running back in the draft. The UFSL announced its intention to hold its inaugural draft on Sunday night through a press release early Saturday afternoon. In early mock drafts released by a number of media sources on Saturday evening, Kennard was not listed as a prospect for the top three rounds. His value could also be affected by the fact that two of the league's four player-general managers are running backs.
