Draft
1) All new players entering the league will participate in the draft at some point in their career. Any players entered into a draft pool who are not drafted will become unrestricted free agents. Any players entered into a draft pool who are not drafted may change positions and start anew, but they will be treated as players made after the draft (restricted free agents).
2) A rookie draft will take place during each offseason. The draft order will be determined randomly for season 1 and conducted in snake format. The draft order in subsequent seasons will be determined by order of finish, with the lowest record selecting first, and post-season playoffs determining draft order for those teams.
3) Rookie players made after a draft will be eligible to enter the league as a restricted free agent and sign a one-year contract. At the end of that season, those players will enter the off-season rookie draft pool.
