"And with the 20th pick of the UFSL entry draft, the Reno Predators select MLB Dominique Johnson out of the University of Miami."
With those words, my pro football career started. Sure it's not the NFL, but still, I'm getting paid to play a game. Two million a year? Hell ya! But Draft Day was different for me. I never did expect to go early in the first three rounds, but my agent and I were both invited to the AIM Room in the Plaza Hotel in New York. It wasn't the Radio City Music Hall, but it served its purpose. There I met eventual #1 pick Christopher Miller. He seemed almost out of it, but I can't wait to face him this year. No doubt will it be hard for me to stop him, but it is possible. Also, I met up with my Draftee Game opponent Tyler Barabash. I asked him what he thought about my play. All he said, "Who?" Great.....
Around the end of the fourth round, my agent had to leave, leaving me there sitting at the table by myself. But soon, I received a call from Ikechukwu Osuwah's agent, who was the Seattle Stormtroopers GM. He said with his pick of the 6th round, he would pick me. I expressed interest in the Stormtroopers and I was ecstatic. But then, Reno picked me. And Tyler Barabash changed his name to Lord Vadar and stole my idea. All I can do is beat his ass now.
