The Reno Predators made a deal on wednesday signing season two strong safety Drew Hamilton to a one-year 2 Million Dollar deal. The St. Peter Griffins had the same offer on the table for the Strong Safety. Drew had this to say about having half of the league offer him a contract: "It was amazing. Honestly I figured i'd maybe have one deal? 2 was great." Drew also commented on his decision process and how he chose Reno: "I chose the team with the most familiar faces. I like playing with people from the VFL. It's gonna be great to play in Reno with guy's ive been playing against my entire life. It's like a flashback." In the VFL Drew played for The Los Angeles Royals and the Barcelona Bulls. "I felt real at home in the VFL, If it never would've died I probably would've kicked myself back into that league. But i'm excited for Reno. We defenantly have a good core of defensive backs coming in. It'll be great to see how other offenses tremble when they come to town." Drew will play the other team that bid for him this week in Reno as the Predators take on the Griffins in preseason play. 206 Words.
