This is Taylor "The Hitting Machine" Green. I will be writing about the anticipation the Seattle Stormtroopers are having before our first preseason game and then to finally get started for the regular season. The Stormtroopers defense has been ranked as the top defense in many preseason polls. The Stormtroopers also added another OLB today in Jack Apple. This now gives the Stormtroopers four Lbs. Now the Stormtroopers has the flexibility to play both the 4-3 and 3-4 defenses.
The team workouts and practices have been very intense. Team drills have been both fun and very competitive. No one wants to be outworked. The number one CB position belongs to Taylor "The Hitting Machine" Green. The competition for the second corner back position is intense. Bam Risso was drafted as the second Corner back spot but CJ Jordan a CB signed after the draft has the goal of becoming the second CB. LB Jack Apple also makes good competion for the olb jobs.
The two starting Safety positions seem to be set. The defensive line is the only real question mark for the defense. They have been practicing on a seperate practice field along with the offensive line. The QB has been working on mainly passing drills with his Wide receivers and working on Handoffs with the RB's.
