Last weekend the Seattle Stormtroopers came out on top of the New York Nightmare in their pre-season showdown. This game was actually anticipated to be a great game, but there really wasn't anything good about this pathetic excuse for a football game. These two teams are predicted to be the top two teams in the UFSL this season. But after last week I'm sure many people's minds changed about the strength of these teams. The defense for the Stormtroopers actually turned out to be tough, holding the Nightmare to a field goal the entire game. But the field position they got for the field goal was off a Stormstroopers' turnover. The two quarterbacks, Tom Rayder and Landon Carter, both had awful games. Carter with the more respectable game, completed seven passes out of the 27 he attempted. He threw one touchdown, Seattle's only points, and threw one interception. Rayder completed more passes to Seattle than his actual team. Two interceptions to cornerback Bam Risso and one to safety KJ Bryant. To his own team, Rayder completed two passes out of his eighteen attempts. Hopefully these two teams and the quarterbacks can get on the right track coming into the regular season, and start playing up to their potential.

Meh both teams didn't really try to plan and many on both teams were not fully updated. Therefore, I wouldn't read too much into the offensive or defensive performances for either team.
