New York City (AP) -- The newly-formed UFSL, despite only playing two preseason games, is already facing a new bit of controversy. After playing a game Wednesday where the Seattle Stormtroopers only beat the New York Nightmare 7 to 3 on a late touchdown, the league is now accused of a vile act… making a little girl cry.
“The game, it was just so ugly!” crying little Suzy McQueen wailed while leaving New York’s Nightmare Field on Wednesday. “It’s like a real life nightmare! Why did Tom Rayder complete only two passes, daddy? Why?”
Still somewhat in shock from the ugly game themselves, league officials originally responded with a half-hearted apology to the McQueen family.
“I mean, we never like to make girls cry or anything,” League Administrator Bushito said, perhaps under the influence of some sort of drug to make life more exciting than a game with a combined 142 passing yards. “The UFSL does not condone bad games. Or crying. Or bad games that make little girls cry. Or buffaloes. F*ck buffaloes.”
The UFSL was universally panned for their particularly bad reaction to the game. The entire league is hoping that the teams make things less tear-inducing this Saturday, when the Stormtroopers take on the Predators and the Nightmare face the Griffins.
