[glow=red,2,300]Ranking UFSL’s Inaugural WR Class[/glow]
Reno Predators:
Devin Street | PITT | #16 | 6’6” | 204lbs
70SPD | 70ACC | 50AWR | 45CTH | TPE:22
Devin Street is expected to be an elite WR in this league, as seen by where he was drafted, at pick 2.1. From what I have heard about this player, and learned in locker room conversations, he seems like an extremely active and dedicated player that can contribute to the team in many, many ways.
Staphid Jervis | Nevada | 6’2” | 222lbs
79.5SPD | 70ACC | 44AWR |28CTH | TPE:10
Jervis, being the GM of the Predators, is expected to create an absolute monster of a player. T9o this point, the league has not seen his elite TPE earning ability, but those in Reno are hoping that he turns things around soon. Jervis is already at a massive disadvantage, by only being 6’2”, compared to the rest of the league’s elite WR’s at 6’6”, but that doesn’t mean he cannot close that gap significantly.
Dave Hester | Idaho | 6’6” | 221lbs
78SPD | 72ACC | 44AWR | 28CTH | TPE: 17
Hester has cause much controversy in the short existence of the league so far, which has caused a rift among teammates, but that does not discredit what he has done to this point in the season. If Hester can keep up with his TPE, expect him to be the steal of the draft (Wouldn’t be the first time)
TEAM GRADE: B+
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Seattle Stormtroopers:
Jordan Oakley | Texas Tech | 6’0” | 175lbs
81SPD | 44ACC | 65AWR | 24CTH | TPE:17
Oakley was drafted 14th overall in the inaugural draft, and to this point has lived up to expectations. He already has elite speed, but with him giving up 6 inches to some cornerbacks, he may find it hard to catch the tough passes.
Keon Henderson | Missouri | 6’5” | 195lbs
71.5SPD | 49ACC | 40AWR | 52CTH | TPE: 5
Keon Henderson has been exactly what we thought he would be. He has been absolutely average at best and I cannot imagine things will change any time soon. He has potential because he was smart with his height, but if his speed and acceleration never improve, neither will he.
TEAM GRADE: C
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
New York Nightmare
Jimmy Graham |Miami | 6’6” | 225lbs
80SPD | 51ACC | 44AWR | 70CTH | TPE: 34
To this point, Graham has to be considered the league best WR. He has accumulated a staggering 34 TPE in the matter of a couple weeks and has absolutely no sign of slowing down. Drafted 16th overall, he could be a massive mid round steal if he keeps this up...and I expect him too.
WR Christopher Miller | USC | 6’6” | 215lbs
80SPD | 70ACC | 61AWR | 28CTH | TPE:26
Miller was the top pick in the season one draft, and has shown his enormous player building potential to this point. In fact, his start to this season could be considered a “slow” start by Millers high standards. Miller has absolutely no limitations when it comes to his player’s potential. Expect him to be one of the best for years to come.
TEAM GRADE: A
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
St. Peters Griffins
Carmanjello Williams | Miami | 6’5” | 225lbs
66SPD | 42ACC | 56AWR | 62CTH
To this point, Williams may be the worst of the leagues starting WR’s, in a tight battle with Keon Henderson. While he was smart by making himself tall, he has made a questionable decision by building his catch rating before speed and acceleration. Certainly, a non-conventional build, but it may work.
Marcus Kennard | Michigan State | 6’2” | 225lbs
76SPD | 51ACC| 44AWR| 33CTH | 35BTK | TPE: 9
Well, his teammate Williams may have been the worst starting receiver, but now that I have got to Kennard, he most defiantly is. Firstly, h is only 6’2, which puts him at a big disadvantage, and secondly, he added points to Break Tackle! What! Why? Doesn’t really make any sense to me, and I’m sure it wont to you either.
