The Reno Predators could easily be considered the top team in the UFSL thanks to a strong draft. Shotty did a great job putting the team together. Hopefully his good draft effort shows on the field and carries us to the championship. In this article we'll take a look and review the Reno draft.
Round 1 - Pick 4 - QB - Rocka Fella(InstantRockstar)
InstantRockstar and I have had our differences. However, that was quite a while ago in the SSN and we have kissed and made up since. He is one hell of a player in sim leagues and never fails to disappoint me. His graphics are pretty much a guaranteed 5 week in and week out which is always good. On top of having guaranteed 5s, he could also write if it came down to it. Rocka Fella will look to lead this team to the championship and with a great supporting cast, he most likely won't fail. He's got a notable RB along with some great hands at the WR position. The only down fall about this pick is the drop off from Bash, Advantage and Camo down to Instant. However, as big of a drop that may seem like to you guys, it doesn't seem all that big of a drop to me.
Round 2 - Pick 5 - WR - Devin Street(Diamond_Ace)
D_A is extremely under valued in sim leagues if you ask me. He's always a lock for a grader and he's a boss at writing so he's always going to get the max TPE per week. Not to mention, he's got his share of experience so he knows how and where to add points to his players. My expectations for D_A in this league are pretty high but I don't expect him to fall short of them. The connection between Instant and D_A is going to be unstoppable for opposing defenses. They'll cause nightmares to all of the other defensive coordinators in the league.
Round 3 - Pick 12 - CB - Little Planet(FUZeJoeMawm)
FUZe was a great pick right here. He was probably the top player left in my opinion. He's a great player to have in the locker room and he always gets his stuff in on time for his TPE. Hopefully FUZe can step up and be a shut down CB in this league. He's going to be the main man on the defense so he needs to step up and act like Darrelle Revis out there at corner. He knows his stuff as well and can make a good player. And, as far as I know, FUZe and Shotty are pretty tight so there's no question that FUZe is going to stay active.
Round 4 - Pick 13 - RB - Elijah McNugget(SupaStar33)
I'm going to be honest, I'm surprised I went here. I was taken over people like Diesel and Mercury. That shows that Shotty has a lot of faith in me and I'll be trying my hardest not to disappoint him. However, with my computer breaking down due to a virus this could be a bad pick for Shotty. Hopefully I can work around it and continue to write articles from my iPod and prove my worth. I'm setting huge expectations for myself in season 1 and will push to hit them. This pick will turn out to be a good one for Shotty.
