Broadcasting live from the New York Post. I’m terry Baldshaw and thanks for joining us today. First things first, the nightmare begin the season with a tough lost against the Griffins. Now, everyone watching the UFSL this week could have told you themselves that they weren’t expecting New York to lose. But the Griffins sure managed to contain Brandon Iceman for minimal yardage.
Iceman managed just under 40 yards the entire game, which was very surprising given that he was going to be the focal point of this rivalry. But after tweaking his ankle on the first drive he just didn’t return the same. His speed lacked noticeably and his cutback ability was also sub-par. So was it Iceman’s fault the nightmare lost? Well, Brandon says he puts the complete blame on himself. He says he let his teammates down, he let his fans down and ultimately he let himself down as well. And that can’t happen says Iceman.
Asked if he looks to bounce back strongly for his game next week, he said this. I’ve come to realize that I need to step up my game and do whatever I can to help this team win. I wasn’t able to make that happen in our first game but I’m definitely looking to have a strong second game this week. I’m sure it’ll be only a matter of time before everyone gets to see the Ice-effect be put into place.
