Early on in sim leagues, everybody seems to enjoy calling their own team the best in the league. However, we never know just who it is until the games start being played. Early on, particularly after a rough stretch of inability toward bringing in new free agents, the St. Peter Griffins seemed to be the team left out in the dust while the other three had, in their minds, full right to go off about that team being their own.
With the recent ending of their third game in the inaugural season, though, the Griffins remain undefeated, having beaten all three other teams in the league. The thing to ask, though, is whose to credit with those three wins? Obviously, Maple Syrup is no minor part, particularly after his two hundred-plus yard game against the Predators. But another thing to note is their strong play on defense, particularly in the secondary. To date, their top two cornerbacks, Darrell Jones and Brady Lynch, have recorded a combined four interceptions, two of which for touchdowns, in just three games. Oh, not to mention that Jones has recorded a pick in each game. And having a linebacker corps anchored by the likes of French Toast and J.D Boom, allowing just a hundred and twenty-eight yards, and no scores, sure helps as well.

No FB love? You're off my Christmas list.... Well, you're obviously why Syrup gets any mention, as he'd be nothing without you
