Builds are nice if you know what you're doing. But you can't argue someone 10 overall better.

the overall rating is controlled by an algorithm that is written to value certain attributes on certain positions.

and without giving up too many secrets in game there are two specific values that are undervalued at most positions by the algorithm

so sometimes it is right and sometimes it is wrong

Not to be a dick Night Train but most know what you do when it comes to this stuff. Attributes, TPE and Build have less effect on a players perfomance than playbooks, teamates and the situation they are in do. Plain and simple it's a combination of so many factors that, well who cares really since the Stormtroopers are going to win it all.
